TDDE05: Labs Instructions (Under contruction for 2025)

Labs

• Lab 1: Introduction to ROS2 and Turtlebot4
• Lab 2: Navigation
• Lab 3: TST
• Lab 4: Exploration
• Lab 5: A basic office assistant

Once you are finished with a lab:

• Commit the source code to your git repository.
• Demonstrate the lab results to your assistant - a demonstration description is given in the individual lab instructions.

Apptainer

The labs will be run using apptainer sif images. On the student computer you need to do:

module initadd prog/apptainer

Working from home

• Lab computers can be accessed via Thinlinc, or alternatively using RDP.
• It is also possible to use a docker image on your local computer. THIS SHOULDBE UPDATED FOR APPTAINER

Deadlines

• March, 27th: labs are finished
• March, 29th: project is selected
• May, 13rd: presentation of projects during a seminar
• June 9th: final report
